Favourite of the month #54

Because of my love for music, I want to share my favourites. My last post was not too long ago, but I’ve discovered a new band! So, the way this works: I’ll share 5 songs I like from this artist/band. And I give a small background story of the artist/band!

This month: The Neighbourhood

The Neighbourhood (sometimes rendered as The NBHD) is an American alternative rock/indie band formed in California in 2011.

The group consists of:

• Lead vocalist: Jesse Rutherford
• Guitarists: Jeremy Freedman and Zach Abels
• Bassist: Mikey Margott
• Drummer: Brandon Alexander Fried

After releasing two EP’s called I’m Sorry… and Thank You, they released their first full-length album I Love You in 2013. The same year, the EP The Love Collection was released. A second album, Wiped Out! was released in 2015, with a self-titled third studio album in 2018. Before that, they released two EPs: Hard and To Imagine. Hard charted briefly on the Billboard 200. When they released the album, they decided to collect the final tracklisting in another EP called Hard to Imagine. Then finally, there’s an EP released in 2020 called Pretty Boy.
