Everyone needs to eat (otherwise we wouldn’t last long) and everyone eats in their own way. But, they’re several ‘common’ ways to eat, and scientists connected those ways of eating to personality traits. So, let’s see what your habit of consuming food says about you, shall we?

  1. Slow eater

You truly take your time to enjoy your meal and don’t want to rush to finish. You like to make the most out of every moment in your life. At work, you’re in no hurry to get things done, because you believe a job well done is much better than a job that’s done quickly. In relationships, you live in the present moment. It might make fights more intense, but makes the good times all the more enjoyable. Your lack of having an inner clock may get on other people’s nerves. However, don’t let this change you.

2. Fast eater

You’re someone who gets through a meal as quickly as possible. You often don’t even take the time to chew the food completely. You’re great at getting things done before a deadline. You’re good at multitasking, have a healthy sense of competition and find your brain being ten steps ahead of you at times. Though, rushing through things like meals implies that you don’t take enough time for yourself. Make sure you also keep track of your own needs.

3. The organizer

You’re the type of eater who doesn’t want any foods to touch each other. You want to keep things neat and tidy, avoiding messy situations at all costs. Most people may not always understand your way of doing things. You’re a very careful person, often gaining your praise at work for your attention to details. Make sure you don’t alienate others by being too rigid about things. Keep your patience and flexibility for relationships.

6. The mixer

You’re the type of person who mixes all types of food together, getting a little of everything in every bite. You’re a strong person who feels capable of taking on a lot. 9. The picky

You have a lot of very specific requests for your food. When dining out, you have plenty of questions and specifications. You’re someone who thrives when you’re in your comfort zone. You like that warm feeling of being around a loved one. You prefer jobs and takes that you know inside-out. You’re also an inquisitive person as you aren’t afraid to ask questions. You have a real thirst for knowledge.
