Of course, you can get ice cream at an ice cream parlor, but what if I told you that you can make it yourself from now on? And that you don’t need an ice cream maker for that? Let’s dive into how this is done!
Ingredients:
- 500 ml buttermilk
- 200 ml whipping cream
- 3 organic lemons (juice and zest)
- 60 grams of sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
The steps:
- Rinse the lemons under warm water. Dry them, grate the zest, cut the lemons in half and squeeze them.
- Add lemon zest and juice to the buttermilk.
- In another bowl, whip the cream with the sugar and vanilla sugar until stiff.
- Mix the heavy cream with the buttermilk-lemon mixture.
- Place your ice cream mixture in a plastic container and place in the freezer. Leave it in the freezer for at least 8 to 10 hours.
- Take the ice cream out of the freezer fifteen minutes before you want to eat it to soften a little.
