What you radiate when wearing these cheerful colours

My friend Clarissa is in the fashion industry and would love to tell you more about what colours do to your mood. So, I shall take a step back and make way for my friend’s fashion advice!

  1. Fuchsia equals confidence

The colour fuchsia is a perfect combination of red and purple, resulting in a powerful and challenging colour. Wearing fuchsia is often associated with confidence and individuality, which can help you feel happy and confident. Moreover, fuchsia is a colour that is easy to combine with other colours and patterns, which makes it a versatile and accessible colour.

2. Light pink equals soothing

Light pink is a soft and romantic shade. It’s a subtle version of pink, which gives a soothing look. If you wear light pink, you radiate love and kindness. Light pink is easy to combine with other pastel shades and neutral colours.

3. Orange equals energetic adventure

Orange is a cheerful and striking hue that evokes sunshine and energy. This colour has a challenging and powerful appearance. This is how you come across as brave and adventurous. You can easily combine the colour with other bright and striking colours.

4. Coloured stripes equal optimistic freedom

Coloured stripes bring dynamism and movement to your clothing and provide a striking and playful effect. It’s a simple way to spice up your wardrobe and give you an instant confidence boost. Coloured stripes are often seen as representing optimism and freedom.

5. Multi-prints equal bold self-expression

Multi-prints are eye-catching, playful and full of creativity. They’re a way to express and emphasise your personality and individuality. Wearing multi-print clothes is often associated with boldness and self-expression, which can help you feel confident and daring.

6. Purple equals power

The colour purple is a combination of blue and red. Blue is a calm and stable colour and red is often associated with energy and sometimes even anger. Purple, therefore, gives you power. If you dose it with a different colour, for example white, then the sharp edges will go off a bit.

7. Green equals calm

Green symbolises several important aspects at once: firstly, this colour represents nature. Second, it’s the colour of health and the colour of life itself. While red tones excite, green colour has a calming effect.
