How to make iced coffee yourself: 3 refreshing recipes

If you’re not in the mood for a hot cup of steaming coffee with the hot weather, iced coffee is an ideal solution to get your caffeine. Do you want to make your own iced coffee? Luke has prepared 3 tasty recipes for you!

1. Iced coffee with milk

Ingredients:

• 1 double espresso
• 3 tsp sugar (sweetener for a light variant)
• A good splash of whole milk
• 8 ice cubes

How to make it:

First, make a cup of espresso and add the tablespoons of sugar. Then let the coffee cool in the fridge for half an hour. Pour the cooled coffee into a large glass (long drink) and add the ice cubes to the rim of the glass. Finally, add the milk and drink!

2. Caramel iced coffee

Ingredients:

• 1 double espresso
• A good splash of milk
• 2 scoops of whipped ice cream
• 8 ice cubes
• 1 tsp cocoa powder
• 4 tbsp caramel sauce
• Whipped cream
• Blender

How to make it:

Make the espresso and let the coffee cool in the fridge for half an hour. Put the ice cubes in the blender and pour in a good splash of milk. Spoon 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream into the blender, add the cold coffee and finally 4 tablespoons of caramel sauce. Turn on the blender and start mixing! Pour the mixture into a highball glass and pipe a dollop of whipped cream on top. To finish the iced coffee, you can add some extra caramel sauce over the whipped cream and add some cocoa powder if necessary.

3. Iced coffee with vanilla

Ingredients:

• 1 double espresso
• A good splash of milk
• 4 tsp vanilla essence
• 4 scoops of vanilla ice cream
• 8 ice cubes
• Whipped cream
• Blender

How to make it:

Brew the espresso and heat the milk in the meantime. Mix with the espresso, milk and vanilla essence in a mug and refrigerate for half an hour to cool. Put the ice cubes in the blender and pour in the cold mixture. After mixing, pour the iced coffee with vanilla into a large highball glass and enjoy! If you like, you can finish the iced coffee with a dollop of whipped cream.
