The good memories of 2022

2022, what a fucked up year that was. I had my ups and downs, mostly downs, but there were some good things that I can mention. After all, I lost some people, but I still have fun things to share. So, I say we take a look at my year 2022!

Recurring stats

• I’ve got my driver’s license for 7 years (October 25, 2015).
• My blog exists for 8 years (August 3, 2014).
• My cat turned 8 and lives with us for 8 years now (after adoption on July 16, 2014).
• I turned 25.
• I’ve been a vegetarian for 9 years (and partially vegan) (began in 2013).
• I’ve been streaming on Twitch for two years (May 7, 2020).
• I published my seventh book, The Dome Code, in May.
• I worked at the amusement park (my second season) from April till October.
• I started my university study: English Language and Culture.
• I watched 55 films this year, at home and in the cinema.

January

• Went to the cinema with my dad to watch ”Spider-Man: No Way Home.”

February

• Went to the cinema with B and we watched ”The Matrix: Resurrections.”
• Went to the cinema with F and we watched ”Scream.”
• Had pizza with S, M, and R at R’s place.
• Went gaming at R’s place with S and ate pizza.

March

• Saw my best friend M at my place.
• Went to the cinema with B and we watched ”The Batman.”
• Went to see a comedian named Alex Ploeg.
• Went to Manchester to see The Wanted live.
• Met my best friend S in Manchester at the concert.
• Went to the cinema with M and we watched ”Uncharted.” Was also the first time we were meeting each other.
• Went to Dutch Comic Con on my own (because I got dumped by the people I was with).
• Went to the cinema with B and we watched ”Ambulance.”

April

• Went to the cinema with F and we watched ”Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore.”
• Went to the cinema with B and we watched ”Sonic The Hedgehog 2.”
• Saw my best friend M at my place.
• Saw 5 Seconds of Summer live.
• Saw Only Seven Left live with B.
• Went to the cinema on my own and saw ”Morbius.”

May

• Went to the cinema on my own and watched ”Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.”
• Went gaming with B at my place.
• Saw Normandie live.
• Went gaming at M’s place.
• Saw my best friend M at my place.
• Saw Jeff Dunham live.

June

• Saw My Chemical Romance live with F.
• Saw The Script live (a second time) with my dad.
• Saw Green Day live with S.
• Went to the cinema and watched ”Top Gun: Maverick.”

July

• Went to a BBQ at work.
• Went gaming at M’s place.
• Went for nachos with my bestie J.
• Played a game called ”Jachtseizoen” at D and R’s place.
• Went for ice cream with H, R, and M.

August

• Went to the amusement park Slagharen with my bestie J, H, and R and had dinner with my bestie J, H, and A.
• Met L for the first time in Utrecht.
• Went for a ride with my bestie J.
• Went gaming at R’s place.
• Saw Kensington live (a second and final time).
• Ate pizza with my bestie J and R twice.
• Had ice cream with R.
• Went to the Mac Donalds with my bestie J.
• Had dinner with my bestie J and H.
• Had ice cream with my bestie J and R, then went to H’s place.
• Met with the gang at D’s place.
• Ate pizza with my bestie J.
• Went to our work as guests with my bestie J, went out for dinner with him and R, and played a game with H and A in the evening.
• Had lunch with my best friend M.

September

• Went gaming at my place with F.
• Went bowling with colleagues.
• Joined my bestie J’s birthday party.
• Went for a ride with my bestie J.
• Had dinner with my bestie J and B.

October

• Went to the Mac Donalds with my bestie J.
• Went to a Halloween party.
• Saw Pa Sheehy live with my dad.
• Saw Three Days Grace live (a third time).
• B came to my place to eat dinner and watch a film ”’The Forest.”
• Saw Sum 41 + Simple Plan live (the latter a third time).
• Went to the cinema with S and we watched ”Halloween Ends.”
• Ate pizza with my bestie J.
• Had pizza with my colleagues.

November

• Had a personnel party organised by my work.
• Went to the city with my bestie J three times.
• Went to dancing class with my bestie J.
• Saw The Chainsmokers live.
• Went gaming with H and M.
• Went to Mac Donalds with my bestie J.
• Went to Dutch Comic Con in full cosplay as Eddie Munson with M, E, and I.
• Went gaming with my bestie J and M, and later on H.
• Went out for dinner with my bestie J and his boyfriend L.

December

• Went out for lunch with my best friend M twice.
• Went to Dortmund Comic Con in full cosplay as Eddie Munson meeting Joseph Quinn, Tom Wlaschiha, and Jason Isaacs. And I met my friend G there for the first time!
• Went gaming at my bestie J’s place with S.
• Saw L a second time in Utrecht.
• Went for dinner with B and went pooling afterwards with my bestie J joining us.
• Went for dinner with S.
• Saw my best friend J for the second time in Utrecht, visiting a museum together.
• Went to the city with my bestie J.
• Celebrated Christmas with a friend of our family, and my grandparents.
