I’ve been to my second concert of The Script on the 10th of June, in the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam. Did I like it more than the first concert I’ve attended from them? Let’s find out in today’s review!
My dad truly loves them, and we bought tickets for their new album tour. They sadly had to cancel that one, but then announced a new tour, which would be their greatest hits. However, it wasn’t only about their greatest hits. They changed the name to ‘Tales From The Script’, and played songs even I didn’t know. That doesn’t mean my dad and I didn’t enjoy it. Well, my dad a bit more than I did. I’ll explain why in a second!

They had a support act called Ella Henderson, and my god the sound was awful. It was way too loud. I honestly couldn’t even stand being in the room because it was so loud. I was, therefore, really happy when she was done performing. Then it was break time, and The Script would come up 30 minutes after that. She ended earlier, they started earlier, which was perfect for me.
They performed 18 songs for us that night.
- Superheroes
- Rain
- We Cry
- I Want It All
- Paint The Town Green
- The Man Who Can’t Be Moved
- Before The Worst
- The Last Time
- If You Could See Me Now
- Nothing
- Never Seen Anything ”Quite Like You”
- Something Unreal
- Science & Faith
- Talk You Down
- For The First Time
- No Good In Goodbye
- Breakeven
- Hall Of Fame
I do like them, but my dad is a much bigger fan of them than I am. I used to listen to them quite a lot back in the day, but I prefer rock and heavy metal. Anyway, they still sound amazing live, despite it has been four years since I’ve last seen them. They put up quite a show as well. The screens had videos, and the lighting show was off the charts. I also loved that they haven’t derailed from what they did four years ago. They went to a smaller stage to perform three songs, and also performed three songs amongst the public. They do know how to get the whole crowd to sing along and just have the times of their lives. And they performed my favourite song of theirs, so that made me instantly happy. Overall, I definitely loved the concert and was fortunate to see them perform live again.
