The signs that you’re not eating enough

If you want to lose a few pounds, the advice is to eat less than the calories you burn. However, it’s also important not to consume too little. These are the signs when that does happen.

  1. Tiredness

When you eat too little, you don’t get enough fuel to live on. The consequence? You have little energy to do something. Chances are you’ll feel a lot better when you eat a little more.

2. Thinking about food

Are you hungry all day long and constantly thinking about food? Then there’s a good chance that you’re not eating enough. Fortunately, the solution is simple. Preferably choose food with a lot of fiber and protein.

3. Headaches and dizziness

When your brain doesn’t have enough glucose in stock, you can suffer from headaches and dizziness. Eating something helps to get your blood sugar back up.

4. Annoyed

Research has shown that depriving yourself of certain things leads to more anger and frustration. This also applies to not eating enough.

5. Still hungry after eating

If you’re still hungry after a meal, chances are you haven’t eaten enough. Preferably choose healthy fats, proteins, and whole grains. These ensure that you don’t feel hungry right after eating a meal.
