It’s December, and that means that many people are planning on going on a ski holiday. Skiing, snowboarding, sledding, you’re all ready to have fun. That’s why you’ll undoubtedly recognise the following when you go to the winter resort this year!
- Thermic underwear
Surely you don’t go outside with temperatures around -20 degrees in only a sweater and winter coat? Especially the cold ones among us can’t do without this extra warm layer of clothing.
Although you have a very active holiday, your diet is far from healthy. In fact, you eat chips/fries almost every day. Even at lunchtime! And for variety, you sometimes go for pasta.
Who sets an alarm during the holidays? Well, you do! You’re ready to leave at 9 a.m. Why? Because you want to be able to ski and snowboard in peace before all the other tourists wake up.
4. Early bedtime
You like to stay up late because it’s fun, but you’re completely wrecked after a whole day of fanatical sports.
5. You lose everything
Wasn’t your brother standing right behind you? Did your sister go down the slopes? And which ski lift did your parents sit in again?
6. Bad hair day
Because you wear a helmet all day, (safety first) your hair looks awful at the end of the day. I, therefore, suggest you wear a hat/beanie if you still have to go outside without a helmet.
7. Hot cocoa
You drink a delicious mug of hot cocoa at least twice a day to forget about the cold. With a generous layer of whipped cream on top of course!
