You’ve met a person, and after a few days, you start to like him/her/them more and more. You’re less interested in others around you, but you still have doubts about whether or not you want to take the next step: a relationship.
- Level of enthusiasm
When others ask about the relationship between you and the other, you prefer to avoid this question. You don’t even know what you want with it. You answer briefly that it’s going well, and then you quickly move on to another topic.
2. Suffocating feeling
Just the thought of being in a relationship makes you feel anxious. You really like that person, but it’s still difficult to imagine that he/she is/they’re the only one you want to share your life with.
3. Busy life
School, your hobbies, friends… Actually, you don’t have time for a relationship at all. It’s important that you put in time and effort, but you simply can’t make time at the moment. If you’d have a night off, you prefer to chill with your bestie.
4. Talking with others
In the meantime, you also talk to other people that you secretly like. However, the doubt remains in your head whether someone else might not suit you better.
5. More effort
Sometimes you’re so busy that you forget to text them. The other person is usually the one who texts you first and asks you out for the next date. And to be honest, you don’t really feel the need to see each other several times a week. Once every two weeks is also fine, right?
6. Meeting parents
During Christmas, you prefer to be with your own family. It’s, therefore, preferable to postpone meeting the parents for as long as possible.
