The things each and everyone one of us does

Everyone’s different and we all have our own habits. Yet there are a number of things that everyone does and therefore are recognisable to everyone. Get ready for ‘oh, I do that too’ moments reading these things!

1. Even though you know you’ve locked the door, there’s that little voice in your head that makes you doubt. Thus, you go back to check it for the umpteenth time.
2. Swipe up all your apps to close them ’cause otherwise there’ll be too much open, including Spotify. And gone’s your music…
3. Singing the alphabet in your head to know which letter comes after another.
4. See if your crush’s last name matches your first name. Yes, you have to know if you fit together in all areas.
5. Open the fridge ’cause you feel like eating something, then closing the door again ’cause you can’t find anything to eat. Then you look in the other cupboard, and look in the fridge one more time. As if suddenly there’s something delicious to be found in it.
6. Buy unnecessary things ’cause they’re on sale. It’s 30% off! You can’t pass that up, can you?
7. “Huh, what did you say?” ‘Cause you didn’t listen to what the other person said, so that question comes up often.
8. Go offline when your crush’s typing. Of course you have to be a bit ‘hard to get.’
9. Stressing all over ’cause you lost your phone just lying next to you. Or you know, holding in your hand.
10. Press the save button 10 times, just to be sure.
11. Set 10 alarms, ’cause imagine sleeping through them…
12. Press the button of the traffic light about 10 times, hoping that the light will turn green faster.
13. Sing along to a song, pretend you know the lyrics and pretend you’re in a musical.
14. 14 Looking at your phone ’cause you want to know what time it is, but as soon as you put it down you realise you haven’t looked at the time at all…
15. Accidentally open the chat of someone you wanted to ignore. Ugh, now you have to respond…
16. Pretend you’re on the phone when you’re waiting for someone so you don’t seem friendless.
17. Order multiple things ’cause those shipping costs are otherwise added to your shopping basket.
