Vaseline and beauty hacks

Vaseline is probably not the first product you put in your bag. But did you know that Vaseline is the most useful product ever? Affordable, compact and truly versatile. In what ways do I hear you ask? Maggie is here to tell you!

1. Perfume

Put a little Vaseline on your wrists and behind your ears before using perfume. This way the perfume will last longer. Saves the constant spraying you have to do throughout the day.

2. Highlighter

Dab some Vaseline on your cheekbones and under your eyebrows. This way you create a natural highlighter.

3. Split ends

Right before you go to the hairdresser, you realise your hair ends don’t look very healthy. When you knead some Vaseline into your hair, you create a ‘healthier’ look before you actually step into the salon.

4. Primer for eyeshadow

Dab some Vaseline on your lids before applying eyeshadow. This way the eyeshadow stays in place all day long.

5. Dried out nail polish

Take a cotton swab and coat the top part of your nail polish jar with Vaseline. This ensures that the bottle closes properly and the nail polish doesn’t dry out.

6. Eyelashes

You don’t need mascara at all! Use your finger to rub some Vaseline on the top and bottom of your lashes to create natural volume.

7. Manicure

Do you find it difficult to stay within the lines of your nails? Then spread some Vaseline around the nails before applying nail polish. This way the nail polish doesn’t stick to your skin and you also take care of your cuticles.
