Tips for making an Instagram photo

Anyone on Instagram is often busy with the perfect photo. To be honest, there’s no such thing as the perfect photo. A lot of photoshop often precedes it. But there are still a lot of things you can do au naturel to give your photo just that little bit more shine!

  1. Find your ‘beautiful’ side

Everyone has a side that they find just that little bit more beautiful. Therefore, make sure that you show your good side a little more in your photos. This way you automatically radiate more self-confidence and you can see that in the photo.

2. Stand on your toes

Have you been trying for an hour to take a good outfit of the day photo and have you not found the ideal photo yet? To get a better picture of your body, you can stand on your toes. Also place your legs a little further apart. That way you look just that little bit longer.

3. Laugh spontaneously

A fake smile is immediately visible, so make sure you smile spontaneously in your photo. Your pretty smile may be seen! So smile as wide as you can.

4. Stand open

Standing open creates an open appearance. Therefore, try to put your hands on your sides or keep your arms behind you instead of in front of or loosely at your sides. That way you stand out more.

5. Look above the lens

Don’t look directly into the camera, but try to look slightly above it. This gives a slightly more natural photo.

6. Trust the one behind the camera

The person behind the camera also plays a role in the final result. Therefore, make sure that he/she’s someone with whom you feel completely comfortable. Then the photo will also look much more spontaneous and loose.

7. Be yourself

Take a photo that you like. You don’t have to have pictures like all Instagram models. Just be yourself and no need to fake.
