Your favourite candle scent tells your personality

I myself don’t like candles at all, but lots of my friends do. I got a post request from one of them to write about candle scents and a person’s personality. So, without further ado: let’s jump in before the flame gets out 😉

1. Rose

Anyone who’s ever dated you can attest to this candle: You’re a romantic lover to the core. That’s why you fill your home with the scent everyone associates with the most poetic flower of all time: rose.

2. Lemon

You’re someone who really appreciates a clean space, which is why your go-to scent is lemon. It has the ability to cut through just about any smell and deodorize a room within minutes. That’s why you burn this candle to make your home smell fresh.

3. Cedar

There’s nothing more invigorating than breathing in fresh air while hiking your favorite trail. or so you say. That’s why you’re always seeking your next adventure. You like this particular scent during the chillier months when it’s not as comfortable being outside.

4. Vanilla

It’s hard to go wrong with arguably the most popular scent of all time, which is your solution to just about everything. Hence why you’re a traditionalist who votes classic rather than trendy.

5. Sandalwood

You’re a people pleaser. This scent is on the muskier side and is commonly viewed as a gender-neutral smell. Which means you and your husband/wife or boyfriend/girlfriend will be happy with it.

6. Apple

Food is always on your mind. That’s why you burn apple candles. Not only do they remind you of your passion, but the scent isn’t overpowering. It helps to let the delicious smells coming from your kitchen take center stage in your home.

7. Lavender

Chances are you’re someone who knows how to unwind and relax. That’s why lighting up this floral scent, which is an aromatherapy wonder for its calming effects, is the first thing you do when you get home from work or school.

8. Pumpkin

It’s not the season for it, but you might still have some left, unopened. Or maybe the ones along the lines of peppermint or gingerbread. In other words, you get bored easily and like to switch things up on the regular.
