Ask and I’ll tell tag: the red questions

Every 2 days, I’ll answer some questions from the ‘Ask and I’ll tell tag’. It has 6 colours in total, so I figured it’d be more fun to split them in 6 articles divided over the course of two weeks. It has questions that ask about your future, your past and your current life. I say we dive right in and start answering some red questions!

1. Have you ever regretted something you didn’t do before?

Yes, I regret not going to Linkin Park’s concert when I had the chance. Ever since Chester died, I’ve been thinking: how stupid you were that you thought school was more important. I mean, you can always redo a test or make extra homework to do better next time, but you’ll never get to see a certain band live when the lead singer dies. And even if they would perform live with a different singer, it’ll just never be the same without Chester.

2. If you can add a quality to your personality, what would it be?

Optimism. I know that I’m not the most optimistic person there is, so I’d really want to get this quality. Especially with Covid happening, that little bit of optimism I had in me completely vanished. Now I’m not saying that I’m completely pessimistic, but I know it’s more common than me being optimistic.

3. What’s your favourite song?

Save You by Simple Plan will always have a special place in my heart. Other than that, I do love Paralyzed by NF a lot ever since I heard it.

4. You head to an uninhabited island for a week, which three things do you take with you?

My headphones, MP3-player (it’s an old one that has a very long battery duration) and my laptop. I think I’d survive pretty well then. Unless I run out of power, or it starts raining and I’ve got no cover, meaning my devices get ruined…

5. What’s your superstition?

I don’t have one, to be very honest. I’m pretty open for anything and find some superstitions rather annoying. I know some are a part of a certain culture, but it just doesn’t really stick with me. Especially when it comes to black cats. I mean come on people, wake up and act normal. Save the black cats instead of murdering them. I myself have a black cat and I can assure you that my life was already filled with bad luck before he was born. So no superstitions for me, but definitely hating on some that exist.

6. What are you most proud of in terms of your work?

My stories. Or well, the book that’s gonna be published in February. I’m gonna turn it into a trilogy and I already know the plots of the other two books. I’m just so proud of myself for taking the step to write fantasy and to now have an idea in mind that no one will ever take away from me. It’s my idea and I’ll share it with the world. Just you wait 😉

7. Where do you see yourself in ten years?

Definitely going to as many concerts as possible, maybe even more than I did before the stupid pandemic started. I miss it so damn much. Oh, and I’m a traveller that travels around the world to sign the books I published. In ten years I’ll be a famously known fantasy author whose trilogy is so successful, they’ll turn it into films. Or even a serie, if they must.

8. If you were an animal, which animal would you be?

If I may pick a mythological animal, I’d pick a dragon. If not, I’d pick a wolf. I want to be fierce, strong and feared. That last one may sound intimidating, but I don’t mean it as such. I want to be feared in terms of people leaving me alone so I can live my life to the fullest in my own habitat. If I don’t attack, neither should others.
