Meet the actor #5

I’m a massive film lover and know lots of actors I love. It doesn’t matter what kind of film or series they play in, I’ll go watch it. Okay, that’s not entirely true, but you get what I mean. Anyway, without further ado: let’s get started!

This month: Johnny Depp

John Christopher Depp II, born June 9, 1963, is an American actor, producer, and musician. He was nominated for ten Golden Globe Awards, winning one for Best Actor for his performance of the title role in Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street and was nominated for three Academy Awards for Best Actor. Depp made his film debut in the 1984 film A Nightmare on Elm Street, before rising to prominence as a teen idol on the television series 21 Jump Street.

I discovered him in Edward Scissorhands and was immediately sold. This actor has a gift, that I can’t really describe. He’s an honest phenomenal actor, more so as Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean, which was the second thing I watched of him. After that, so many more films followed. It’s way too much to tell seeing as this man didn’t sit still when it comes to acting. Wel, until now. Seeing as Amber Heard literally took two films away from him (maybe even more). I by the way can’t believe that (excuse my French) that bitch is still playing as Mera in the upcoming sequel of Aquaman. Shame on you witch.

In any case, the way he talks just has something. I can’t describe what it is, but it calms me down? Does that make sense? I don’t know, he speaks so calmly and kind, that it’s hard to believe anything different anyone says about him. More so because he willingly, I repeat willingly, dresses as Jack Sparrow to visit children’s hospitals and make them smile. And seeing as Covid happened last year, he did it online. Now you can say all you want, but this man is a phenomenal actor and man. And if you disagree, I kindly ask you to leave my website. Don’t start hate in the comments please. Let’s talk about his acting jobs more than anything. Obviously, Jack Sparrow is my favourite, but Edward is a close second.

My top 5 films/series he starred in:

1. Pirates of the Caribbean

2. Edward Scissorhands

3. Finding Neverland

4. Dark Shadows

5. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

If you know this actor, how did you get to know him? What did you watch of him?

Love, Deem/Skye Lewis ❤
