The Blogger Tag

Surely a lot of my readers know me, but I decided to write a new post with some tag questions to give new readers the opportunity to get to know me better. Or, maybe my old readers just want to know even more about me and find things they didn’t know before. Anyway: let’s just start!

Question 1: How tall are you?

I’m 5 ft 11” which is 1,80 meters. Whenever I go shopping for trousers, it’s kind of hard to find one not too short. Unless I’m of course looking for one that won’t cover my ankles. For shirts, it’s not so bad. I just need to buy a bigger size because of my arms and length haha. And when it comes to shoes… Let’s not talk about that. I’ve got big feet and therefore need big shoes. Luckily sneakers fit that image and I love my sneakers.

Question 2: Do you have a hidden talent? If so, what?

Does writing count as a hidden talent? No, of course not. Everyone knows I’m a writer. Uhm… I do sing. But if that’s a talent… No, not really. I also draw but… No. I don’t know actually. But I have many talents!

Question 3: What’s your biggest blog-related pet peeve?

Those bloggers who try to promote themselves while responding to your posts. I never do that and therefore find it annoying when others do. I get it that they’re trying to get their word out and want to attract people to their website. But I won’t give in. Sorry, not sorry.

Question 4: What’s your biggest non-blog related pet peeve?

When someone doesn’t remove his or her bag in public transport. Whenever it gets busy, I always remove mine so others don’t need to ask. I just find it annoying that others wait just as long until someone asks them and then they still roll their eyes. Like, I’m so sorry I ask you to move your precious bag to the floor.

Question 5: What’s your favourite song?

Save You by Simple Plan. That band has my heart ever since I was five years old. And that song means so much to me in general. It has been my anthem at many times in my life.

Question 6: What’s your favourite social media website?

That’s Twitter. My entire community is on there and it’s where I communicate the most. I also use it for my blog to promote my posts and to stay in touch with other bloggers through dm.

Question 7: What’s your favourite way to spend your free time when you’re alone?

Play a game haha. I love my videogames so much. Whenever I get the time, I play for a couple of hours. And if I’m not doing that, I’m listening to music while writing my book. Or watching a series or film.

Question 8: What’s your favourite junk food?

Pizza! I love my pizza! If I could, I’d eat it every day! Okay no, not every day. But many times a week haha.

Question 9: Do you have a pet or pets? If so, what kind and what are their names?

I do! I have a very sweet black cat who turned six this year. His nickname is Blacky and that’s what I’ll leave it at. I don’t want to reveal his real name since it’s kinda unique and I kinda want to keep it that way 😉

Question 10: What are your number one favourite nonfiction and fiction books?

I love Harry Potter. It’s the thing I grew up with and sometimes still read to escape from real life. Even with the hate that’s surrounding Harry Potter (thanks to J.K) I still love my favourite wizard.

Question 11: What’s your favourite beauty product or tool?

None. I don’t use any of that stuff.

Question 12: When were you last embarrassed? What happened?

I’ve been in quarantine, so I haven’t done anything embarrassing lately. I’m afraid this question will be unanswered for now.

Question 13: If you could only drink one beverage (besides water) for the rest of your life, what would it be?

I actually only drink water haha. Well, I do love apple juice. So, I guess I’ll choose that then.

Question 14: What’s your favourite film?

1917! I’ve seen it ten times now and am planning on watching it many more times! I just love the actors in it, the setting, the story, the set… Everything!

Question 15: What was your favourite lesson in school and why?

English, obviously. It’s my language and the one I express myself in. I loved writing English and speaking it (with my three accents. Because I can go from British to Scottish to American haha. And sometimes a little bit of Irish too).

Question 16: If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live?

London! I wanna go back to my beloved country England to study and live there! Get a job and built a life there! It’s where I belong after all 🙂

Question 17: PC or Mac?

PC only. I’ve never had a Mac and never want one. I’m not a fan of Apple products.

Question 18: Last romantic gesture from a crush, date, boy/girlfriend, spouse? (or kind gesture from a friend)

Nothing really. My boyfriend and I aren’t into any romantic stuff like that. I wouldn’t want any candles, flowers or chocolates. No romantic dinners or picnics or whatever. I really hate that haha. Plus, I haven’t seen him since quarantine started.

Question 19: Favourite celebrity?

George MacKay. He’s so modest, kind, easy-going, old fashioned and doesn’t even act as if he’s known. He’s just a very regular guy from England with a soul that radiates nothing but sweetness and kindness.

Question 20: Who’s your biggest inspiration?

It’s again George MacKay. Just the way he goes through life, that he doesn’t value social media, that he values books and films in ways others don’t. The way he speaks and sees the beauty of life. He has so many quotes I can relate to.

Question 21: What’s your favourite high street shop?

I don’t have one actually. I don’t even like shopping haha.

Question 22: Are you in education or do you work?

I’m still in education. Well, kind of less during quarantine, but I guess that’s a common thing for those who still go to school in these weird times haha.

Question 23: One thing you’re proud of?

My strength. I’ve had some shit going on in my life in the past few years (my mum and cancer, her osteoporosis, my grandpa’s heart attack to name the biggest events). Of course also some school-related stuff, but not too hurtful. I’m just proud of myself for being so positive and always going forward when such things happen.
