Movie Love Tag

A tag that has questions about movies? I say: yes please! I’m honestly more into movies than I am into series. Though, there are some exceptions (such as Stranger Things) but that’s a story for a different tag 😉 Anyway, let’s gets started!

1. A movie you could not live without

1917. Honestly, that movie has become my favourite one, ever since I saw it. I’ve currently seen it 7 times already, getting close to beating my previous high score of 8, for a different movie. 1917 is just so well-made, with an outstanding cast. I just can’t express how much I love this movie. And the soundtrack… It’s so beautiful.

2. A movie you hate

Boyhood. Honestly, I really disliked this movie. It was so extremely boring. I remember the day I saw it. I had won tickets for a movie, which wasn’t working. So they gave us a different one, as a replacement. It was just very long, and very boring to me.

3. A movie you found meaningful and prolific

Hacksaw Ridge. It shows the true deeds of a man that saved 75 men during the events of World War II. He simply dragged them out of the battlefield, lowering them down. The movie showed the courage of one man, ‘fighting’ without a gun, risking his own life to save the many.

4. A movie that you’d like to possibly revisit because it’s been so long since you last saw it

I Am Number Four. It used to be my favourite movie, before I saw three different ones after that. I have seen it only once, and therefore really need to rewatch it.

5. Your favorite horror movie

That’s both IT movies. A friend of mine introduced me to the first one, and shortly after, I had to watch the second one. I actually loved both. Now, both aren’t really considered to be a horror movie, but I wanted to name them regardless.

6. A movie you thought would be a lot better than it actually was

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes Of Crindelwald. I don’t know, I just thought more of it then it showed. I honestly hope the third one will be better than the second. Just the way they left things, and how some things went. I don’t know, I just simply expected more.

7. The last good movie you saw

Captain Fantastic. I’ve seen it twice now, and I really love that movie. It’s so well-made, and the story behind it… It’s just marvelous. It’s just a movie about a man, thinking he raises his children in the best way possible. And it suits him. Him, and his six children.

8. A movie you really want to see

The True History Of The Kelly Gang. I was wanting to watch it in the cinema, but then the virus cut things off for me. So now, I have to wait until the dvd releases here. I know it has been released in the USA, but sadly I don’t live there. So, I have to wait patiently.

9. A popular movie that you’ve never seen, but everyone else has

Titanic. Yes, I’ve never seen Titanic. Only the scene where, you know, she won’t invite him over on the door she’s floating on. Anyway, such movies are really not my thing. I don’t regret not watching it, and am not planning on watching it anytime soon. Probably never, to be very honest.

10. Your favorite Christmas movie

The Grinch haha. I don’t know why, but it’s not your typical Christmas movie. I just really love the Grinch itself, his humour and such. And I mean, this is my favourite scene of the entire movie:

Which movie is your ultimate favourite?

Love, Deem ❤
