Vitamins are very important for a healthy life. They give you a boost for whatever difficulty you may face: physically and mentally. So, how about I share some recipes with you? Recipes to make your very own healthy juices filled with vitamins? Yes? Let’s begin!
Grapefruit juice (for 4 glasses)
- 2 grapefruits
- 1 lemon
- Pinch of salt
- 7 Up
- Ice cubes
- Juicer
Step 1: cut the grapefruits and lemon by half.
Step 2: squeeze the juice out of the grapefruits and the lemon. Keep the other half of the lemon separate!
Step 3: cut the other half of the lemon in slices.
Step 4: pour the juice in a jug and add (to your own taste) some salt and 7 Up.
Step 6: add some ice cubes to your drink to keep it fresh and cold.
Step 5: put a slice of lemon on the edge of your glass and enjoy!
Strawberry basil juice (for 6 glasses)
- 500 grams of strawberries
- Half of a lemon
- A few twigs of basil
- One cup of sugar
- Sparkling water
- Blender
- Small pan
Step 1: get rid of the peduncles, connected to the strawberries and put them in a blender. Mix the strawberries until it’s a smooth substance.
Step 2: add the juice from the lemon to the mixture and pour a tiny bit of the sparkling water. Also add the cup of sugar and a few basil leaves.
Step 3: pour all of that in a small pan and start cooking it. Let it be for about 5 minutes, though not on full gas. Let it cool off.
Step 4: once it’s entirely cooled down, you’ll need to get two spoons of it in a glass. Then, pour some sparkling water on top of it. Stir it and there’s your freshly made strawberry lemonade!
Mango creme juice (for 6 glasses)
- Cup of water
- Cup of sugar
- 2,5 centimeters of ginger
- 2,5 centimeters of a cinnamon stick
- 1 big ripe mango
- 1 liters of sparkling water
- Whipped cream
- Small pan
- Blender
Step 1: first, you’ll make a sirup. You’ll do this by mixing the cup of water with the cup of sugar, by cooking it in a small pan.
Step 2: add the ginger and cinnamon stick to the mixture. Let it cook for about 15 minutes.
Step 3: meanwhile, you can peel the mango and cut it in small pieces. Only the fruit itself 😉
Step 4: mash the mango pieces in the blender and add the sirup to it. Then, mix it all together so it becomes a smooth mixture.
Step 5: fill the glasses with a third of the mango sirup and pour the sparkling water on top of it.
Step 6: last but not least, add some whipped cream to your drink. And you’re all done!
