This is how you’ll get your nails stronger and healthier!

We’ve all dealt with it: a broken nail. When you’ve just done your nails, one breaks. Sadly, not everyone is blessed with strong, healthy nails. Luckily, there are ways of making sure your nails grow stronger. Curious how?

1. Nail hardener

Of course, everyone knows most women ‘paint’ their nails, but did you know there’s also a nail hardener in existence? You’ll see that your nails will get a lot stronger when you use that to coat your nails. Do this occasionally though! Otherwise it won’t work.

2. Vitamin B

Vitamins are really important for us, as we all know. Vitamin B won’t only help your nails to grow harder, but it’s also very healthy for your hair and skin. Which means: win-win! You’ll find this vitamin in eggs, vegetables and fruit.

3. Hydration

Water is very healthy for your body, and is also healthy for your nails. Surprise! You should try to drink a few more glasses of water during the day. And, take a bottle with you when you leave the house!

4. Cleaning products

Your nails will suffer a lot while you’re doing the dishes or use cleaning products. It causes your hands and nails to dry out. To prevent this, you should use a moisturizing creme!

5. Oil

This is a miracle cure for fragile nails. Soak your nails for about 10 minutes in a bowl with natural oil, such as coconut oil, olive oil or castor oil. It has a caring effect and will prevent your nails drying out!

6. Free of nail polish

Of course it’s fun to add a colour to your nails. But you should consider skipping that for a week, so they can get some oxygen. It may sound weird, but your nails have trouble ‘breathing’ with an extra layer on them. And by giving them a break, you’ll prevent your nails becoming limp and yellow.
