6 delicious smoothie recipes!

Do you fancy drinking a smoothie while the weather gets a bit better? I got you covered! I’ve got six recipes for you that are delicious and healthy! So, let’s take a look at them!

1. Mint-lime smoothie

  • 125 milliliters of coconut water
  • 125 grams of ice cream
  • 1 banana
  • 1 peeled orange
  • 3 twigs of mint
  • Half a lime, peeled
  • 125 grams of spinach or kale

Peel the banana and do the same for the orange and lime. Combine all ingredients in a blender and mix it all together. Do this for about a minute or so, until the mixture shows smoothness. Then you’re done!

2. Mango-peach smoothie

  • 1 peach, cut in slices
  • 1 mango, peeled and cut
  • 125 milliliters of milk
  • 125 milliliters of orange juice

Add all ingredients in the blender and mix it all together, until it shows a delicious, creamy substance. 

3. Banana-blueberry smoothie

  • 1 ripe banana
  • 250 grams of blueberries
  • 250 milliliters of low-fat yogurt

Put all ingredients in a blender and mix it until you see a smooth smoothie substance occurring.  

4. Peanut butter-banana smoothie

  • 1 ripe banana
  • 250 milliliters of low-fat milk
  • 65 grams of peanut butter
  • 2 spoons of honey
  • 125 grams of ice cream

It’s just as simple as the ones written above: add them all in a blender, mix it and drink it!

5. Strawberry-banana-oatmeal smoothie

  • 65 grams of oatflakes
  • 1 tea spoon of dried chia seed
  • 190 milliliters of milk
  • 65 milliliters of orange juice
  • 65 milliliters of yogurt
  • 125 grams of fresh strawberries
  • 125 grams of fresh banana, sliced

Put the oat flakes and chia seed in a blender and mix this until it shows the texture of flour. Add the milk and orange juice, and use a spoon to mix it all together. Add the yogurt, strawberries and bananas and mix it all together by using the blender. Stop once you see a smooth substance occurring.

6. Green smoothie

  • 125 grams of frozen mango
  • 125 grams of frozen pineapple
  • 1 banana
  • A handful of fresh spinach
  • A handful of kale
  • 175 milliliters of water

Put the mango, pineapple and banana in a blender. Add the kale and spinach to it. Add the water to it and mix it all together. It may be possible that you need to add a little bit more water. That depends on the strength of your blender.
