Hoe ik ben begonnen met bloggen:

Mijn passie was altijd al schrijven, gepaard met lezen. Ik kreeg ooit een boek, Dat Heb Ik Weer van Carry Slee. In dat boek had het hoofdpersonage een blog, en ik bedacht me dat dat de ideale manier was om mijn verhalen vorm te geven via het internet. Ik zocht op verschillende sites en keek op blogs, en kwam uiteindelijk terecht bij WordPress. Ik was blij het platform gevonden te hebben om mezelf te uiten, anderen te verblijden met mijn artikelen en zelfs een inspiratiebron te zijn. Dankzij dat boek, begon ik mijn blog, mijn stukje internet.

How I started with blogging.

My passion always was writing, but reading was also a big part of it. I got a book, That’s Just My Luck from Carry Slee. The main character in the book has a blog, and I thought it was the perfect way to share my stories through internet. I searched on different sites and I looked at blogs, and I met WordPress. I was happy, because I found the perfect way to express myself, to make others happy with my posts and being an inspiration. Thanks to that book, I started my blog, my piece on the internet.

Twee adviezen voor beginnende bloggers:

1. Blog zoals jezelf, en over datgene wat je leuk vind of interesseert. Als je jezelf blijft, straal je dat ook uit, en daarmee inspireer je de mensen. Je hoeft niets te doen wat je niet wilt, het is van jou. Laat jezelf zien, zoals jij bent.

2. Wees geduldig, volgers komen vanzelf. Hoe langer je blogt, hoe beter je artikelen worden, hoe meer interesse mensen gaan tonen. Je kunt altijd andere blogs volgen en reacties achterlaten, zodat men je blog ontdekt. Maar wees uniek, dat maakt je sterk.

Two pieces of advice for bloggers:

1. Blog like you, and about that what you like and what you’re interested in. If you stay yourself, you’ll give that to your readers, and with that, you can inspire people. You don’t have to do what you don’t want to do, because it’s yours. Stay yourself and show yourself, just the way you are.

2. Be patient, followers will come. The longer you write, the better your articles and more people will become interested in your posts. You can always follow other blogs and leave reactions under their posts. People will see you in this way. But be unique, that’s what makes you strong.
